  • How is Ready Plates different from all the other food ordering apps?
  • While there are plenty of websites and apps that are focused on take out or delivery orders, Ready Plates is the first mobile app focused on the dining in experience across all participating restaurants.
  • What do you mean by participating restaurants?
  • Restaurants have to agree to participate. You can help by spreading the word. Eventually, we aim to have Ready Plates accepted in every restaurant across the country if not around the world.
  • How long do I have to wait for my food?
  • While Ready Plates does everything we can to cut down on your wait times, it is ultimately up to each restaurant to provide you with the food you want when you want. Ready Plates will track the restaurant’s performance and allow customers to review the restaurant via social media. This way you can see how the service is ahead of time.
  • Do I need to make a reservation to use the app?
  • Any reservations are made separately with the restaurant. The app works in participating restaurants whether they take reservations or not. Just show them the code when you arrive and the order gets sent to the kitchen. Simple as that.
  • What happens if I place an order but don’t make it to the restaurant?
  • No problem. Your order is not confirmed until you actually show it to the host/hostess at the restaurant. So, if your plans end up changing, the pre-order will simply cancel after a set time.
  • What if I want to add something to my order after already sitting down?
  • At this time, anything added to an order after it has already been confirmed must be taken care of on a separate bill directly with the restaurant. We hope to update the app with an Add function soon.
  • Do I have to pay for Ready Plates?
  • No. The app is free and the service provided is free to customers.
